Spring Break 2009-Official Thread

The TN boys will be returning to PCB for Spring Break 2009. Probably staying at the Chateau once again.

Its a dump...is only close to Harpoon Harry's, Latitudes and Sharkys is a ways away. THey have daytime stuff on the beach but nothing like the stuff that goes on down the beach by the Boardwalk and the Summit.....even the holiday inn sunspree has better stuff during the day...and its far away from the bigger clubs..... Ok it might not be a dump its prolly the 4th or 5th best place to stay, but you def can find better...

i think the main reason we were considering that was because the price looked good. you know of any place that has decent priced rooms and still close to the action? know anything about Sandpiper?

In that case yea id go with the chateau i think it is a little cheaper.....The sandpiper is further down the beach but it has a tikibar there that is usually busy. I know ppl go down to the hotel just for that

boardwalk or summit are the only ways to go. the trade off with the summit is that you have too many rules (no funnels, no kegs, must have wrist band) but the pay off is that you are close to the superclubs (spinnakers, la vela, hammerhead fred's). Boardwalk has very lavish apartments but they are a bit of a walk from the super clubs. at the summit you need someone who is 21 to get a room. at the boardwalk you need someone who is 25.

I couldn't stay anywhere but The Summit! Why would you not want to? Beautiful huge rooms with a gorgeous view. At least the 2 we had were. Some others we seen were mediocre but who cares! Most importantly right in the midst of all the action! On the beach during the day and next to the best clubs at night! What more could you ask for? Damn, I should be a ****ing sales rep!

I've been checking out the rates of a lot of different places this year. Chateau looks like its the cheapest of the party hotels, but I think i'm going to do a condo this year. I'm sure there are cheaper places than the Chateau but I know that the Chateau is a great party place, plus it is pretty close to Harpoon Harry's.
