I am going to be in the Panama City/Destin/Pensacola area at the end of May/beginning of June, and I was wondering if any one knew of any planned wet t-shirt contests? I am hoping to catch one while I am there.

Thanks, do they have them all the time? Or just on some days? Have you seen one? What about at Club Spinnaker? What do they have?

Hey mayorace, welcome to the Forum... La Vela is going to be having wet t-shirt contests over Memorial Day weekend, but as far as I know, Spinnaker doesn't have any planned.

Generally, Spinnaker doesn't have wet t-shirt or bikini contests, except during Spring Break. They're both having concerts this weekend though, and La Vela has some other cool thinkgs, like SuperFlirt with Ron Jeremy (yeah, THAT guy).

Glad to help mayorace. Don't know your musical tastes, but La Vela's having a big name in the 23rd - Freaknasty. And Randy, our Club Hour host, is taking a circus to Spinnaker on Friday night - he's hunting down a new co-host for the show. You gotta see this... quite a wide range of talents... hell, if you're out-going, love to party, and would enjoy hanging out with a hyperkinetic co-host, you ought to tape a screen test yourself!

Randy and Club Hour are going to be in La Vela on Saturday night, shooting a tour of the club. That ought to be interesting. It's a big place, so it should be entertaining just watching one of our kick-*** production teams ride herd on the guy.

I can't make it there until the weekend after Memorial Day weekend. Will it be totally dead? Or will there still be lots of people and some good poolside contests?

I'm not 100% on this, but my guess is that La Vela will be having contests from here til Labor Day. I could be wrong, but...

Don't worry, Memorial Day is the opening of the summer season, and the Beach just picks up from there. There will be nearly as many people here the week after Memorial Day as there will be this weekend... and the clubs and other attractions should be going strong, too.

We'll keep an eye open for events that weekend, and let you know...

Are there going to be any pics or video clips up from the big Memorial Day weekend celebration?

A few pictures, and some from the Danzig concert a couple of days ago... didn't get any of the contests though. I'll let you know when they're online...

Just on the off chance (ha) that someone was wanting to know about Bikini Contests or Male Hardbody Contests over 4th of July weekend, thought I'd pass this along...

At Club La Vela they're having both plus Wet T-Shirt Contests starting Thursday, July 4th and going through Sunday the 7th. Yep, all your bikini and wet t-shirt needs satisfied at one place. Not bad... if I hear of anyone else doing the same I'll pass it along.
