Our plans fell through last year as a load of the lads dropped out when it actually came to booking. This year me and a mate are coming out 7th to 21st March and if anyone decides their coming as well they can sort themselves out as I’m not missing it again! Can’t wait to actually get the flights booked, but not sure what route were going to take yet?
Orlando or Tampa seem to have the best deals but obviously a fair drive up and don’t want to lose too much time at the start or end of the holiday, so was wondering about connecting flights to an airport close to PCB. Plus drove from Orlando down to Miami for the day last time we were in the US and to be honest got bored on the long straight roads with no bends or fun bits! Could be an excuse to hire a dodge charger or a mustang instead of a normal rental car though ![]() Still need to look in more detail so if anyone can recommend any good websites for travelling times and directions (only used map quest so far), or good websites for connecting flights it’d be appreciated. 6 months away but already looking forward to it! ![]() Cheers for any help or advice anyway Martyn |

Cheapest flight I found was with Delta came out at £442 from Gatwick to Ft. Walton. Think we're probably going to book our flights this weekend then we don't have any last minute headaches if the flights fill up!
I used loads of different sites but main ones that I found usefull were kayak and travelsupermarket. But probably worth shopping round to check the others before booking. |

Before you book any flights, you need to check about fares flying into Tallahassee. I have done that several times and it has been the cheapest by a long shot. The drive is wide open and has very little traffic. Enjoy your trip!

Just a shout, but this year 6 of us went flew from Manchester/Gatwick for about £350 into Jacksonville. From there its a dull but easy five hour drive to PCB, which cost us total about $60 in gas each way in a big SUV, taking a load of detours through little country towns to ease the tedium. Obviously that will be a little more next year!
As for websites, Cheap Flights, Airline Tickets, Cheap Airfare & Discount Travel Deals - Kayak.co.uk is the best site i've seen for scheduled flights, and google maps is the daddy once you've landed. Got us from Jacksonville to PCB to New Orleans & back again. |
