Here is a map of PCB with most Hotels and hot spots. I've worked the last 2 days on this and I hope it can be helpful to those booking hotels for this spring break. It is an actual satellite pic of the beach that I've labeled. Make sure you hit "Satellite" to see the actual picture map of the beach!!!

My Spring Break 08 @ PCB pics

Hey thanks everyone. My guess is the satellite view is from 2007 or maybe early this year. Some of the spots I put on there (Grand Panama, Hooter 2) hadn't been built yet but I marked the property pretty accurate. It was harder than what I thought it might be when I started making it because I don't live down there and had to go by pics of some of the newer places to know if it was the right place, but I think I got just about everything right. If you notice something wrong or think I should add something just post it here or pm me and I'll fix it.

They built another hooters down there to make 2 of them in the same town?

We actually had 2 already (one was in across the bridge on 23rd street).They closed that Hooters when the one on Thomas Dr opened.

Plus, I think they originally planned to sell the Hooters on the beach to developers... but it's still open right now... so maybe that deal fell through?

Gotcha, whats the population of Panama City anyways......My friend was trying to open a hooters out here, he had backers to meet the asset requirement, but you have to have 100,000 people in a 10 miles radius and we have about 80,000

How about Google get a Street View going. That would be really cool.

Per Google's updates (of satellite view), I use them for many cities, and they seem to be hit-and-miss. Some are updated every few months. I agree that Bay County updates are overdue.

Anyone know where to email and suggest that they grab newer photos? I know they have access. When Steve Fossett's plane went down, they had a new (very detailed) view of the projected area up in less than a week.

PS Obviously, we know what happened to Fossett, and may he rest in peace. Just using it for an example.
