just to avoid any confusion, the party will be located behind spinnakers. Look for the tripsmarter flag behind spinnakers and you will find the party. same place as last year.



seeing as how last year we had the tripsmarter party on st. patty's day and it was ledgendary i think we should repeat the tradition. also i think we had a great location last year. right next to the superclubs (the bathrooms so close was great for people who wandered away from their hotels.. except for mattbamf's friends who decided to just piss their pants) we had plenty of open space and an easy to find location.

a few of my ideas:
i am going to see about getting a tripsmarter.com flag made, to fly with the pirate flag so people can easily recognise that its the forum party.

the jungle juice was a big hit last time so i will do my best to make some as good as what CTflash and his sister made.

it would be a good idea if we set up a potluck style bring an item list. like some of the following
plastic cups
cooler of ice
jello shots
beer/keg
liquer
etc.

ok i've had to scale way back on what i was planning, mostly because of the economy. money is alot tighter now than it was a few months ago. i cant afford to pay a photographer or a bartender for the party. so instead, i am going to try to handle those things myself. and i could really use help with the liquor. if every group brought 1 bottle i think that would be great.

does anyone know if they have rules about bringing grills on the beach? we could grill up some burgers on the cheap.

I was wondering how long it was gonna take before someone started this thread...lol hiring a photographer might cost some money but i like your idea, that would be tight...

I missed the party last year because I missed my flight and didnt get down there till like 2 days after I was supposed to. Greedoe made a pretty cool tripsmarter banner last year, a flag would be perfect.

Haha tonnes of kids are getting really into photography for a hobby and in school these days. find one locally thats game and drop them a few beers to take photos

wow i had no idea photographers were so expensive were talkin $1000-$3500 for a day! holy bageezuz i think your right trigger i will try and track down someone who will do it for free or for portfolio or something

There is Gulf Coast Community College and Florida State University - Panama City... I'm sure there is someone who would do it for cheap if you look around.

As far as I know me and Jessica are coming back for st. pattys day week. I think I might be bringing another girl with me this time. I am still looking for a few more to split the cost of a room with. I am well known by some on the board so if you are interested you can ask around. I am a trust worthy roomie hehe:)
