most guys = lavela, spinikers, coyote ugly, lattitudes and every where else they have bikini contests and where it involves girls in a contest

50/50 crowd = hammerhead freds

I think thats pretty accurate, I always loved Harpoon Harry's for the girls but in 5 trips down there ive never been to sharky's still, it was always way too far down the beach. Lavela, absolute last place i would go to find a girl

and i agree that hammerhead freds is 50 50

havent been to harpoon harrys or lattitudes.

or should i just stick to freds la vela sharkys and spinnaker?

Whoa, so if I am trying to pick up a girl, I should not go to La Vela? I thought that was the party spot? I still haven't booked a hotel room yet and was thinking about boardwalk, but if the guy/girl ratio is like 10/1 that sucks. So should I book at the Chateu or Sunspree in the middle of both sets of bars? Walking 30 mins back to your hotel when the night ends sucks, especially if you are trying to bring a girl back. This is my first spring break so I plan want to maxime my fun. Thanks.

Yea Stylz, those are just about my thoughs as well.

Sharkys: been once and it was kinda dead, but that was back in April of 05, im sure its a different place during the peak weeks, i wouldnt know because like Jsmitty it was always farther down and no close to anything else. Dont know if i care to go this year or not.

Harpoon Harrys: Went my first time there and LOVED IT! Me and CT through down like 10 $1's during the free beer 7-9 time and of course the bartender wouldnt let us out of her sight! She even came out from behind the bar to fill our drinks at times awesome!!
The girls were very plentyful! We had no problem meeting and dancing with so many of them. LOVED IT! I'll have to put up the pics soon.

Latitudes: On Saturdays and Sundays, most locals come out, it can be a real hit our miss on the weekends girl ratio wise but during the week its a little better.

Spinnaker: Soooo many females!!!!!!!!! I think its home base for me with it being so close to my hotel. I'm buying the VIP Super Card this year. Get's the card holder plus 3 guest in with free express entry. Cant wait!!

LaVela: Though i've had great times in he past, last year i noticed from looking down at the balcony seeing long lines with with at least 80% guys...eeek! I had free vip passes to Lavela last year but never made it into the place, was to busy at The Spinnaker.

Hammerhead Freds: Never made it out last year but I did like 3 or 4 years ago and had the time of my life, sooooooooo many girls.....so easy meet up and dance. Some of the wildest and most insane stuff took place when i was there. Wow if that tent could talk haha!

Tom, Welcome to the forums. Holiday Inn Sunspree is a great party place, been there, done it, but they make everything way to inclusive and you cant bring back outside guest and the security will haunt you.

Btw, try and stay at the Boardwalk, as far as girls, you will be set at either The Spinnaker or Hammerhead freds which is just a simple walk across the street and and just a drunken stumble back to your hotel.

Thanks man, I really love the price of the three BR condo, 10 people go and it's only $35 a night! What time is best to book a room. I've seen people say they got deals in jan and feb. I am so glad that I found this site. Seem to be a really good group of people.

how far of a walk is it from lavela up to hammerhead freds? Were staying at the gulfcrest and I think its at the very bottom.

The last 3 years that I stayed at the boardwalk the rooms went on sale in like late Jan/feb....last year tho it didnt happen and im assuming because mtv made it their headquarters or whatever, so if they do it again this year it prolly wont happen. But yeah I would wait till then and get the place for around $700 for the whole week

Ahhh i booked Boardwalk Hotel because the Boardwalk are near the biggest club, but if i read the replys in the thread i become doubt if that was a good desicion... now i have to go about 10 miles to reach sharkys and harpoons harrys because there are most of the girls^^ .

At the moment iam i little bit pissed about that..

we didnt go to sharky's our 1st year cuz we didnt have a car to drive there in 07 but last year in 08 we took a car and made it out there and it was full of girlsss, good times in that place

Yeah i've never really noticed all the girls at spinnaker before either. I thought next to Lavela it had the most guys in it, just not all the thugged out ones.

Suppose anywhere you can get girls though. if its anythink like Cancun theres way more guys but half them look like thugged out clones of each other or stumbling dribbling down there chest. so its easy to come in and get a girl as the alternatives for them suck haha i sound too full of myself there :P
