Ok one question...

It's either sunbird this year for me or majestic. Sunbird only sleeps 4 ppl and majestic sleeps 6. Sunbird is closer to la vela than majestic. I'd rather stay at majestic cause itll be not as crowded but sunbird has a great location. ughhh let me know if majestic is a good place. Cause i love the sunbird.
Thanks-

I'd stay at the Sunbird if I were you. You'ved summed up most of the pros and cons.

I stayed there 2 years ago, to quite for my taste and they were really strick about not bringing any guests back but it sounds like it might be perfect for you and you cant beat their cheap price for the location.

Majestic huh? Unless they've remodeled that place...it's a dump. At least it was a few years ago when I went. Then again...how much "quality time" are you going to spend in your room?

The old Majestic you're thinking about is gone, and yes it was a dump. It is now called Majestic Beach Resort and is very nice. Here's the link

Yea the Majestic is pretty nice now. We stay there several times due to some people we know that owns one of the main corner units thats 3br-3bath. And Salty's is RIGHT across the street and trust me, the place stays busy just about every night. Plus you aren't far from LaVela or Spinnaker. The Majestic is in a prime location. You'll be RIGHT on the strip, as in looking out your door, and it being about 25 feet away. I love the place personally. I think you'll like it just as much, if not better than the Sunbird.

Every time I've been there, we've had no problem at all getting people into the room. We never walked by the office after we checked in. Security was a little weird but thats about it. The pool area is just like anywhere else (Boardwalk Condo's, etc...), you gotta have this bracelet thing they give you and they only give you one. So as long as you're with someone that has this mini dogtag looking bracelet, you'll be fine. They have a bar in the pool area too.

long beach might be a bit further, but we got hooked up with a 2 bedroom for 175 a night...not bad, if i moved to Sunbird, we'd be downsizing and paying only $20 less a night...ill just pay the cab fee and have a bigger place :)
