Club La Vela dress code?

Is there a dress code or somethin the club has durin the day or night? In the clubs down here, i usually sport a button up long sleeve collard shirt, jeans or dikies, and white k-swiss shoes. Would it be ok to wear that kind of stuff to the club? Thanks.

No "wife beaters"

No real baggy clothes (Meaning your shirt has to end near the waist. Jeans can't be half way off your *** etc)

No plan white T shirts

No jersey's

No Du Rag's, banana's, skulls etc

No chain wallets

Hats are suppose to be worn forward at all times. Sounds like a dumb rule. But there is reason's behind it.

Day time dress code is pretty much anything goes except for Jersey's, Du Rags or extremely baggy clothes.

PK dress code

Dress to impress basically. Nice slacks, dress shirt (Button up shirt, polo etc) Nice shoes (Some sneakers work. Just so they are clean and not falling apart)

No hats, No t shirts, No shorts, No sandals

There isn't much of a dress code at La Vela. What you have listed...you'll probably be considered "over" dressed. I think you'll be fine.

Out of curiosity, what's the reasoning behind this?

If you are talking about the stage in the thunderdome, then yes it is still there. However it's for the women only.

I am not 100% sure. But I know it has to do with the way different gangs wear hats in certain directions. Kinda like a gang symbol, jerseys etc.

Kinda retarded, but it does make sense. It's not something they are real strict on. But something they frown on.

That is exactly what it is. Don't want or need that crap.

You'd be surprised at the amount of death threats I hear / receive during the course of Spring Break. People are fall out stupid sometimes. Of course nothing major has ever happen in the club or on it's property. (Or any area on the beach really) But La Vela works very close with the police and whatnot to try and keep it as safe as possible. Which is why they are so strict on how somebody looks / acts before they are even aloud to enter the club.

The stupidest dress code rule by far I have never understood and never will understand is the white t shirt.....What in the world is wrong with someone wearing a white t shirt?? I see celebs going out on white t shirts all the time?? And before someone jumps in and says im crazy that they dont wear white t's out.... Celebrity News | Celebrity Gossip | Celebrity Photos & Pics | Paparazzi Photos of Hollywood Celebs Ive seen it plenty of times there

Celebs get to do what they want

But I'll agree with you. I don't understand the white t thing. Maybe it has something to do with lights? I have no idea..

I agree with the rest of the codes. Just not this one.
