So I've been to both Daytona and Panama City for spring break....and every year I see these count downs on tv deeming Panama City as the #1 spot for spring break over Cancun, Padre Island, and Daytona.

What makes PCB better than these other places? I had heard SO much about Panama City that the first time I went (without a gf)...I was a little disappointed.

I'll say PCB is a good spot...but why it's #1...I don't know. I guess the main "complaint" I have about PCB is that if you have an earlier spring break...it's *(*#$ cold! lol.

And what happened to the good ol' rowdy days? By the time I got to spring break, all of that had tamed down. Security EVERY where making sure that none of that goes on.

The girl to guy ratio here is usually 1 girl for every 4 guys.

In your opinion...what makes PCB the best spot?

pcb is number one in america......cancun is by far still the number one spring break destination

The only place that can give PCB a run at the title is Cancun. Now I have never been there. But I've heard just as many bad things as good.

Guess they look purely at the number of breakers at each place to Gauge this which they seem to get far more than anywhere else.

Ive looked at everywhere, and everywhere seems to have its good and bad points to allot of americans im gussing Mexico would have more pluses than to me as it gets them out of there country and to a new place i love getting out the country and forgetting all the **** back home, but either way to me its a new country so im set lol

I love Cancun the oceon is a gorgeous turquoise blue and the randomness of some of the people there is insane but i cant go every year it was getting too warn out so ill skip a year and make it fresh if i go back you do here some horror stories in Cancun myself i got a drink spiked and the taxi driver robbed me blind 100 dollars my phone the lot but everywhere has bad people with Cancun you got to be mindfull these people get paid ***all so theres allot of people will take advantage if they see it.but i plan on trying just about every place while im still young and a party is what you make it if theres good people there and music you will have good fun WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

its not as expensive as cancun.

but almost as fun.

I haven't heard Daytona Beach mentioned in a conversation as a hot spot in years, haahahahaha!! j/k I went to DB last year cause i live an hr from there and rooms there were only 89.00 a night right next to one of the only bars left in that town...cheap, but far less people! I had fun, but not crazy fun!

I have been to Cancun and it's nuts!!! If PCB is anywhere near that...i will be impressed

yea...if you don't have a good time here, blame yourself. And I'll debate the ratio with you, b/c there are TONS of females here during spring break. Maybe you're just not checking in all the right places...or maybe they're hiding from you. lol

If Daytona Beach comes out of anyones mouth when talking about spring break.....they know absolutlely nothing about spring break

i went to daytona in 07 and i thought it was awsome. then i went to pcb in 08

and daytona anit ****ttttt lol.

I once did Daytona and PCB in the same year...1 week in Daytona....and 1 week in PCB. I guess it must have been the last good year for Daytona. But it was off the chains. PCB was about 15 degrees colder.

The place to be for SB in the US always moves around. Ft. Lauderdale used to be the place to be, then it moved to Daytona, and now it's PCB.

The local goverments always end up wanting it out so the spring break train just moves on lol
