Hey everyone.
So I'm bringing 13 guys down from Canada March 6-15 (get there the 7th, leave the 14th) and we were wondering if anyone knew the lineup for MTV's concerts yet? I don't think they posted the FloRida concert until the day before it went down last year so maybe they'll do that again. I know 10 years is gonna be there, Ying Yang Twins (don't waste your money on this), and a few other I've never really heard of.

I have heard rumors that Lil Wayne is gonna be there so hopefully that is true! Let me know if you guys have heard any rumors.

you'd think if they wanted to hype up them being there they would announce the lineup sooner.

ya no kidding. i just hope they get someone good. they always bring in some good bands/rappers so i hope its the same this year.

i'm thinking it'll be even bigger since it's mtv AND mtvu this year...

i'd love to see the newly-reunited Blink 182 down there.

i can see any of these being possible: asher roth, 3OH!3, gym class heroes, ray j, MGMT, sing it loud, fall out boy, soulja boy, kardinal offishall, lady gaga, ll cool j.

as for bands/artists not likely but still plausible: t-pain (because he records and tours non stop and wants to do anything and everything possible), lil wayne (same reason), TI (if he doesn't go to jail), common.

lets hope for the best...im crossing my fingers for weezy.

When did they announce it was MTV and MTVU down there??

i've heard it from rep's at studentcity, MTV casting calls, and saw it on a few sites...

Studentcity reps would be saying stuff like that....def not happening.....they say that to try and get people all excited and its a joke.....whatever it takes to get more ppl down there

Theyll just have cats in actual mtv tshirts instead mtvu ones why did mtv stop doing spring break all these **** reality shows they do are bad

I heard several years ago that mtv was asked to stop doing spring break in PCB because the area thought it was becoming too crazy and made a deal to keep mtvU. I do know that student city drops lines like that all the time...but i've heard from other places too..so idk

FYI Don't waste your money on Club La Vela concerts!!! I went to Ja Rule and Yin Yang Twins back to back years and both were a big waste of money and were not fun at all!! They pack you in like sardines and you can't move until the concert is over, you wait for ever to get in and even longer for the concert to start! Ja Rule was like 3 hours late and then was only on stage for like 25 minutes if that. And we sung most of the lyrics while he smoked out and held the microphone towards the crowd!! Yin Yang Twins was a tad better but still packed in and more of a headache then fun! Then I went to the Boardwalk one year and seen Default and Bush and that concert blew the rest of them away!! I can't remember how much the tickets were but they were a lot cheaper and both bands were on stage for a long time!! Too bad we had to leave before Bush's concert was over because my g/f got sick!! The place was full but there was plenty of standing and breathing room for everyone to not have to somones elbows in their rib cage!!

But that was several years ago so things could have changed since then but just thought I'd give everyone a heads up that hasn't been to a La Vela concert!!

I think i might check out pop evil at la vela that maybe a little better not being rap
