I recently just purchased the party package from Club La Vela and since this is my first Spring Break in PCB I wanted to get some opinions bout what they offer as oppose to Panamaniac

good question. i've been thinking about buying one myself or maybe both. where did u get ur la vela party pack?

waste of money...man some night la vela is lame...way to many guys and like 10 danceable girl..rest are over weight (yes they need love too) or wifed or just busted...i like the pana.. card more ppl get it and better turn outs for their events

panamaniac card is worth the money if you go out like 4-5 times during your trip. la vela not so much.

lol then you should lower you standards or something. There is always beautiful girls. Tons of them. Besides, I'd rather dance and go to an actually nightclub. Not dance under a tent.

you can use the cards more than once?? Like for 2 different Weeks...?

Def not true one bit....those cards do not work for more than one week. Thats one of the biggest scams down there, people sell their cards for cheaper to people coming down the next week.....They do change color every week

La Vela is the most overrated club down here. I've been able to check out all the clubs in the 2 years I've been down here, and La Vela is consistently disappointing. It's known down here that if you want trashy, go to La Vela. Classy? Go to Spinnaker. I'll be here for every week of spring break and I won't waste one night at La Vela. Spinnaker, Tiki Bar, Harry's, and Hammerhead Freds for night time action is really all you need.

So what do la vela do so bad because they have the most impressive facility with many rooms to cater for peoples tastes so it should be a win win what do they do wrong to make it all go wrong ????????????

Honestly, People who say la vela is the worst club down here. They are typically the same people who have been thrown out on their *** for doing something stupid.


Now it's not the best club in the world. Some areas look a little ran down. But they remodel and change things each year. (PK and penthouse. Thunderdome has been re painted)

And if by trashy they mean hair done, make up, high heels and dresses. Then yeah the women are trashy

Nothing is going to be perfect. Not everyone you run into is going to be dressed up and polite. It is a nightclub after all.

I bought the La Vela VIP card and I will prolly get the Spinnaker VIP one also. I'm not really good at making it to the clubs before 9pm and I'm not use to waiting in lines or paying a cover. I did see that Spinnaker has .25 cent Margaritas from Noon-5 & free admission. The Panamanic card says you have to be in line @ the cut off time at 9pm. That dont work for me.

Tuesday March 17th POP EVIL is playing at Club La Vela, 2 of the guys are from Muskegon, MI where i'm from and the rest are from Grand Rapids about 30 min away from Skee town.

I guess I'm a La Vela hater. I've never been thrown out, likely because I can't stand it long enough to have the chance. Get there at 11 to see the girls in "high heels, makeup, and dresses" walk in. Then wait an hour and watch them leave for something better. I'm really just looking out for those who have little experience down here and don't have the time for trial and error. It is just an opinion though, but I do know how to have a little fun, and I just don't have it there.

Well of course the place isn't for everyone. And not everyone who hates it has been thrown out. But I do know a lot of people who give it bad rep is due to them getting tossed.

I say give it a try and see for yourself if you are not sure. Don't really go on anybody's word. I know these forums are for sharing experiences and opinions. But everyone is a bit different. Spins for example. I can't stand the place. But a lot of people love it! So try it and see for yourself.

And if you go early, you can save yourself a lot of money in case you don't like the place. Just pay and get your hand stamped and then leave. (If you're 21 of course)

Yea, under 21 really gets the shaft with no re-entry.
