Two 20 year old girls are going to spring break that I know.... and they want to know if you can go to La Vela and Spinnakers in between 5-7pm and only pay the $5 cover, get stamped and then come back later and not have to pay the rediculous $20-$30 cover later in the night.... (or does that only work if you are over 21)

No re-entry for under 21. They will have to pay whatever the cover charge is at the time to get back in. I think they change the cover 5 times throughout the night.

Yes. The later it gets...the more likely the price will go up. Apparently this technique works, because La Vela always has a hella line outside.

From what I heard, most clubs give their cover to the promoters. That's how the promoters make their money. You already know La Vela is making hella money on drinks. They start selling them at what...noon before the contests? So from noon to 4 in the morning, they're selliing drinks. 16 hours of straight profit from people who came to do nothing but get wasted every day.

im sure it evens out because during winter and spring i dont think they get too much tourism there

The day time contest end around 5:30 -6 and the club re open's around 6:45 - 7pm. You can get your hand stamped and then come back at any point if you are 21+.
