Hey guys.. we have 6 of us coming and we don't have a big enough vehicle we can find to take all of us so we have 2 cars going. The summit only allows 1 car per condo so we are just wondering if there is a place to park a car for an entire week thats going to be safe? Thanks for your help guys.

In the sand across from the Boardwalk? Seriously, I'd ask if you could pay $20 or whatever for another parking pass...If you have 6 people coming, they should allow for at least 2 vehicles...

Yeah I would ask them for a extra parking pass. Might spend a little for it but it's better then randomly leaving a car somewhere.

I can't think of any places of the top of my head. But I'll ask around a little bit.

I'll be at the boardwalk starting the 8th and I have a third parking pass I don't need. You might be able to keep your wheels there. What week are you coming down?

we are comin down the 7th and may need that or if anyone else has one that would be great

I think the hotel I stayed at a couple of years ago did this. It caused problems as they sold more parking passes than they had room for. SOOOO....even though I only had 1 car, I often had to park across the street in a closed down store's parking lot at 4am when I came home from the club.

Yea man you'll see a lot of it down here. Just make sure to ask the people at the front desk where their property ends or where is it ok to park without being towed. Because they won't hesitate to tow your car, and it only takes about 10 seconds to back a tow truck up and slide the legs under your tires, lift the legs up, and dip out, then make a return trip and get the next car. Reason I know: Use to repo cars all the time...

You shouldn't have a problem though. Just do what we said in this thread, or get Gale's extra pass.

I just talked to the people we rented our place through on VRBO and they said the Summit will allow up to 2 spots per unit.. Does anyone know if that is true?

We always ran into that problem at the Boardwalk and our first year down there parked the other car in the sand across the street...the day before we were getting ready to leave someone stole the whole entire wheel off of the car and our group got stuck down there for several more days....

they wont tow my truck, i lock differentials into 4 wheel drive, parking break, leave it in gear, turn wheels, and park at an angle. i watched 3 tow truck drivers pull up to my ride (at a nascar race where i pissed off the parking attendant and he said he would have it towed) all three of them saw what a huge job it would be to pull my 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 up onto the truck and said **** it and left.
