the club la vela platinum card for $140.. is it actually worth or if you know anyone sellin one for cheaper let me know.. im stayin in a penthouse at the summit.. so i have extra bands.. maybe i can work a deal!!

Other people's card will not work. At least I don't think they do. Locals who buy the card have their name on them. The card is checked at the door by a list of VIP Members.

So if you want your own card then you gotta buy it. As far as if it's worth it.. It depends how often you plan on using it. No lines, (Which can get very long) discounted drinks and no cover (Which can be around $30 some nights) Free entrance to the beach bash and foam parties. Along with discounted prices to the concerts.

Personally I dont think I would pay $140 for that card even if it got me free drinks every night

horrible deal in my opinion.......y would anyone wana spend there spring break all in one place???? and besides, la vela is only good during the day, at night its a bunch of guys


now the panamaniac card is an excelent deal cuz it gives u verity of places and discounts to go each day of the week

Im going to tell you guys how I break the Vela card (Platinum) down for ME.

Platinum is better than the regular card because theres no Cover charge cut off time, meaning u get in free ANYTIME not just before 9:00pm,
BOTH have time restriction drink discounts where the deal ends at 9 at night. And both cards are only good for certian dates like 14-20, six nights.

Here how it breaks down for me, Im that guy that will mess around and go to Vela everynight (cards good for some other certian bar/club) , only 2 nights last year I didnt go. The problem for me is I Party all Night and dont get up early, and when I do, I hit the beach up all day and end up geting at the club about 10pm, remember they close at 4am So that means I end up there for 6 hours. Cant really imagine being end there much longer than that, and remeber drink discounts ended at 9pm even if I went there earlyer I still loose my buzz way before 4am, so u want a buzz pass 9pm you are buying it.

Cover average 30.00 X 6 = 180

Platinum card x 6 days = 140

for me, I would save 40 dollars

IS IT WORTH IT FOR ME

The line I dont mind, its not that bad, long but didnt take forever and I met a lot of people in line , and just my buddy's that didnt have one of those cards.
True, I should get my as.s. up and go during the day an go to a wet Tee shirt contest there a couple times in that week then it would be worth it, everybody should make one, BUT I dont, so that may be the differents between me and you.
SO SINCE I dont go during the day and dont get the most out of the cards, the only thing I can say I would save FORSURE is 40 dollars, weather I get down there an want to Kick my self in the as.s. for not geting one it remains to be seen, will try to keep track this year so I can better size it up, try to post the true conclusion, for me, when spring breaks over.

Close-ness to club, an everbody being on the same page of going, is 2 note-able desiding factors.

note-able mention: one day party u should do, and on thrusdays is a faom party that has there brand beer free to 12 at night with card.
