Does anybody know how strict the bouncers are at the bars and clubs with ID's, mine looks pretty good but i don't feel like getting it taken away, what bars are easy/which are not?

most are strict as hell but at some of the smaller ones you can fold a twenty under it and youre good to go

they're nothing like small town bars. if it's a FAKE id (meaning someone made it on a computer or something) then you're probably pushing your luck unless it's got all the watermarks and perfect edges and thickness. if it's someone else's ID or you somehow tricked the DMV into making one...then you're better off... as long as you look like the person and know the information on it like it's truly you.

my motto is always get drunk at your hotel, then take a few shots before you go, and you'll be fine at the clubs/bars.

They're pretty strict. It's more likely that you'll get it taken away. They check everything...marks on your forehead...attached ear lobes...etc

Before I was 21 i got away with some pretty bad fakes in pcb. One year i actually printed out a fake on a peice of paper and taped it to a wal-mart gift card and only got turned away from one bar all week.
Harpoon Harry's has a sign out front that basically states "if you use a fake here, we will just give it back to you" so that would be a good place to try it. Hammerhead freds and Spinnaker are pretty strict on checking IDs and i know Freds will take it away. Sharky's never gave me any issues...i actually used to get in there with no fake...just give the bouncer a 20 and he'd stamp me over haha. I noticed a lot of people in sharky's this year that didn't exactly look of age....

I can't remember if it was Lavela or Spinnakers, but one of them the security guy called you out over the Bullhorn speaker thing...you could either let him take the fake and do your walk of shame, or he calls the cop over- your choice.

It's really funny, as long is it's not you or a friend.

Spinnakers didn't really take a look at any ID's of my buddies. But La Vela did take one of my buddies ID away and it was one of the ones that you buy online. At the Liquor store on Thomas Drive I think its MS. Newbys or something like that, those people are crazy. A guy checked my ID at the boor with a UV light and a Flashlight. Then at the counter they put it back under some machine and showed me like 3 different pictures that I had no idea where even on my ID.. But all and all it wasen't hard...

I saw guys stand in line for an hour at La Vela...only to be told to "get the f- out of my line. I can either call the cops...and make a scene...or you can leave". I was like DAMN! lol.

"Can I have my I.D. back?" (the common question).

they were pretty strict with id's this year....they had u.v lights at sharky's, harpoon harries, a few liquor stores and crap.....they were pretty strict but thank god im 26 and all my friends were over 21 and we didnt have a prob.....my one friend looks like he was 12 so he kept getting ask for a credit or bank card, something with his name on it

They are very strict even analised my passport way ott who the **** would go to extreme of a fake british passport with all the pages and **** lol

yea they looked my id up and down everywhere i went. some guy even asked to look at my eye color. im like wtf! i wouldnt use a fake newhere this year. theyve gotten a lot stricter

Being retired from the business, I can tell you that you will not get into La Vela, Spinnaker, or Harpoon Harry's with a fake. Your run-of-the-mill fake ID will not have UV pigment in it, and these places have black lights to check for this.
