Aussies View of PCB
Well its been a week since i got here and was gonna stay longer but well had enough of pcb lol its for some but not for all.
First few days was not the best weather, partied like crazy in the shores of panama and had a blast, hot tub was fantastic and the cheap alcohol here was great.
Tuesday they changed up the rules here in the hottub and only 10 ppl max for a 50 person hottub as well as you were not allowed alcohol on the side of the hottub anymore... pretty much ruined the hottub experience.
Tue/Wed went to pineapple willys and had a good time, had the same band both nights playing exactly the same stuff which sorta sucked. Hit up the people on the beach both nights and met a lot of great people and had drinks with them.
Thursday decided to goto the hammerhead freds foam party, waited in line for over an hour and then finally got in to a place that was soo packed with guys you could hardly move. The free drinks mentioned in the flyers and adverts were nowhere to be found and we couldn't see hardly any foam anywhere. After 20 minutes and ascertaining that the ratio of guys to girls was about 12 to 1 we decided to leave and go checkout coyote ugly.
This place was no better with about 10-1 guy to girl ratio and they wanted another $10 to get in so we decided to leave and go drink back at the hotel. After some more drinks at the hotel we decided to walk up the beach this time instead of going to lavela go the other way. After not getting 200m down the beach we ended up getting jumped by some idiots after their mates told them to do something stupid.
We were told that friday was best to goto lavela but after being told the covercharge was $40 we have decided to have an early night and leave early saturday morning.
After all the hype of being told what spring break was and how insane it all was it was pretty much like a normal night out in surfers paradise except in makeshift clubs half the time. Maybe my expectations were a little too high but after experiencing the PCB experience I can confidently say I will not be returning.
I hope everyone else had/has a better PCB experience then I did.
