I have visited spring break for the last 8 years and this year was by far the worst! I have never seen so many trashy kids. Felt like their was a prison break or a release of a bunch of "losers". PC will not last, burger king and mcdonalds may if this continues, but others will not as long as these "losers" continue to spemd their $50 bucks for the week. At one time, I wondered why all the high dollar condos were coming in....now I know. College kids, this is not directed towards you really. You have fun, but are smart enough to know when enough is enough. The high school kids are the problem. I would guess, it will be better next year or PC will be in trouble

There was quite a few unpleasent people around but they only make up a tiny percentage of the 100,000s there, i was there march 9-23rd and only witnessed a handfull and they mostly seemed to be sorts that cruised up and down the strip day and night in the back of pickups and on scooters. On the beach i met nothing but approachable and fun people just there to party and meet new people.

Yes, that would have been the college crowd and probably were more mature and respectful. The high school crowd are a differenet breed.

It's been this way since I can remember. And will be this way until spring break is dead here. As far as trash kids.. Some are, some are not. You have that in every city of the world.

That week after the 14-21st when we were there was ridiculous, and I mean that in a bad way.....Are you kidding me, I am not racist one bit, not even close, but wtf I felt like the black people were taking the town over and I mean I saw these fools on top of cars, dancing in the streets just being ignorant and being idiots Im glad i got outta there when I did. We were for sure ppl were getting killed down there the next week

No matter what race you are...there are a few in every crowd. It's just a way of life. When I saw these "unruly"...."trashy" individuals or groups of individuals...I didn't think "damn white people f-ing it" up. I just thought, "Man THAT guy is an IDIOT..." or "THOSE guys are idiots". You can't categorize a whole group because they happen to be the same skin color. That doesn't make sense.

The older you get...the more you notice how unruly "kids" can be...and the less tolerant you are towards it. It's just called growing up.

agreed...But I will have to say that when we left on the 21st there seemed to be more black people than white people, I believe that was only because most of HBC got out a week later on there spring break...

+1 man! I've noticed that people who live in bigger cities for a while at some point in their life generally understand this better than others.

I've found most of the cool people I've met on the beach.

*It seemed like all the crasy white fools were on the beach and that is where i seen the fights (retarts) and alot of the trash.

*All the ceazy black fools satyed away from the water and were on the strip driving those fake bikes and mopeds and stopping in the middle of the road blocking traffic I didnt see any fights but that is where that black girl got shot.

*I think I would rather throw blows than get blown away,,, but both are dumb when your down there to get away and have fun

*I didnt see to many fights in the clubs,,, seemed to be the safest places

*When you get that many drunk people in one area no matter the color theres going to be bad s h i t that happens,,, It just so happened that the whites did it on the beach and the blacks on the strip,,, All in all I had a blast and look forward to a even more better time in 2010.

i agree, never said there wernt white people acting like braindead *** holes, just i saw tons more black people doing it. that dont make me racist, it makes me observant and unafraid to have the "racist" card pulled on me, cause thats what happens anytime a comment like this is made no matter how much truth is involved in the statement.

How is it that you only observed what the most obnoxious black people were doing? Did you notice that MOST of us actually know how to act when we leave the house? Or were you focused on the few that stood out?

It's a "fact" that every year, at least one white guy thinks he can fly and jumps off of a balcony during spring break. Does that mean that I should apply that "truth" to all white people? And think that, that's just what white people do? No...that would be completely ignorant.

I understand that at the end of the day...this discussion is pointless...because you will feel how you feel....and I will still feel how I feel.
