hey guys i went to panama city in 2008 and trying to go back in 2010. I stayed at the boardwalk hotel and had a blast. I do not kno if i should try anouther hotel on the other side such as the holiday inn or stick wit what i kno. what do you guys think. also when i went on the boardwalk website for prices it wasnt giving the options to look at prices like it was already booked. does anyone kno whats up with that. Thanks

Boardwalk is still a great place to stay. If you have a decent sized group it's fun to get a condo. goto VRBO® is Vacation Rentals By Owner and see if you can find something you like if you want. You can't go wrong with the boardwalk, although without MTVu this year it might be a little lower key, that's just a guess.

Boardwalk is where it is at!

thanka guys. By the way where do you think the better side of the beach or where more activity goes on during the day, by the boardwalk and summit or on the other side by the chateau or sunspree?

Just stayed at Holiday inn Sunspree for Halloween weekend. Well not good. My girlfriend got a bit toooo drunk and the hotel security provoked her and was very rude to her. Now I won't lie that she is a fireball when she drinks and her mouth turns into a constant string of rambling, yelling and choice foul language, but she is not violent. Anyway they call the cops and to make the situation worse the cop had a bad attitude. So after getting escorted to our room and cleared out I got the GF in the passenger seat of the car (calm). The cop wants to talk to her so I open the door and he sticks his finger in her face and yells that she should listen to him. Ummm, so we have a drunk, girl . with a finger pointed in her face and being yelled at. So needless to say she removed the cops finger. He felt obliged to yank her out of the car and cuff her, well after he threw her on the ground. Keep in mind she weighs 105lbs soaking wet. Anyway free cruiser ride time. So I post her bail and we dicide that hey we still want to stay, we will just be nicer. Take 2, Saturday night. We are in costume and want to use our free drink coupons at the hotel bar. Not even buzzed yet, but mr. security comes up and says to come with him. Cops waiting out front and he is wanting them to charge us with tresspass. Well they can't since we were paying customers, but he did kick us out again. this time for nothing. Long story short he and his hispanic security guard are douch recepticals and I am only venting. Just watch yourself if you drink there. The cops will find an excuse to cuff you up.

Your girlfriend sounds awesome. Could you settle a little internal debate I'm having?

Did she go to finishing school in England or France? My first thought would be England...but, the assaulting a police officer thing sounds like a product of a FRENCH finishing school.
