For 2010 crew...and for those of us going back. I'd say:

1. I didn't check out the La Vela contests enough

2. Banamas and ice cream is NOT considered a good nutritional meal for a week.

3. I didn't take enough pictures!

1. No Foam Parties
2. Not enough sun block
3. Didnt bring a flag to rep my college
4. Not enough pictures too. I broke my camera after dropping it into the ocean during the Flo Rida concert.

and only took like 12 pictures lol. no one wants to stop to take pics when you all partyin to your highest ability

lmao! I did that one year (the gf thing). I promise you...the year you take your gf is the year that every girl seems to pay more attention to you...smh....

1.Went only for the weekend. Fri-sun

3. Went too early. (last week of feb goin into mar.)

However I'll take heed to mistakes that are noted such as getting naked for some cheese sticks(they are good tho). and speaking of gf Im trying to convince my friend not to bring his.

haha werd to that. It actually can work out sometimes though, so if anyone is bringing their g/f, just focus on her and have a good time. Besides you're here to have a good time with friends anyways, not hook up with random people. Not to mention you're promised sex almost every night when everyone else is out there TRYING to find someone and lets face it, a lot of guys go back to the hotel alone.

I've had a g/f every spring break since I was 17(I'll be 23 March 1st) and we've had a blast each year and it didn't cause any drama, well maybe a little, but it was kept to a minimum. But maybe b/c I live here it's a little different. I do get the whole 'better not go to the beach without me' talk a lot though. And to be honest, I didn't care to go without the past g/f of 3 yrs because I had just as much fun if not more fun with her as I did when I was with my friends. If you have that kind of relationship with your girl, bring her. If not, leave her at home, call it off, end it, whatever. If you go without her, she's already going to not trust you as much as she says she will. And if she does trust you, she'll be calling and there will be times where girls are hollering in the back ground and she WILL get jealous and pissed.

On another note, I'm single this year, and holy crap can I write some long a** replies. Time for me to go get some work done. Peace

Oh my actual reply to the thread...

1. Get wasted, but make sure you can make it back to the hotel whatever you do. Don't rely on friends, they're probably just as wasted as you, or in my case, all of them at work.

2. Bring a disposable camera, getting sand stuck in your digital sucks. Take more pictures. It only takes 2 seconds to snap a picture.

3. Go to a foam party this year. As crazy as it sounds, I've never been to one. Never really cared to go though.

1. dont scratch that NEVER Lose your ID I lost my id had tro drive back to alabama( nearest city in bama) then come go out with paper id and got no drinks 2. Take more pics & videos where its legal I post one video of 28 secs on youtube after i got home and now i have 13000 hits "the booty poppin contest Video was epic " 3.Go earlier like mid-march I went march 22-28 its was decent but not a lot of chicks to have fun with 4. Go to Make sure you get a la vela or spinnaker Card the platinium at lavela was awesome but sold my tickets to the the concert.... 5. Dont buy Scratch off cards because you get bored I gambled too much but in the end only lost 20.00 and my id 6.Bring more music cds I forgot my music and i had bump the radio didnt have a iphone yet

3. and should probably have made note of things that were broken when we arrived because they tried to blame some stuff on us

1. don't talk to a girl when her boyfriend and his crew are near without support of your own, especially when blacked-out hammered.
2. don't take your friend's friend's friend who seems sketchy.
3. don't get stuck driving 16 of 26 hours when there's 4 other people.
4. don't talk **** to a cop (not me, a friend)
5. don't walk with an open container anywhere near a road if you're under 21.
6. make sure your car is ready for 26 hours of driving there and back.
7. don't hit on hooters waitresses.
8. don't get a room without a fridge and microwave (a stove is nice too).
