If you're going to choose between those two then the Boardwalk is the easy choice. Better location by far and its a more relaxed place as far as rules go.

Have you ever stayed at the Sandpiper? They're extremely relaxed on their rules plus you get a wristband to get into the Tiki Bar for free every night which isn't a bad bet. If anything the Boardwalk is a little more strict on their rules but if you're nifty you can find a way around them.

As for location, depending on when you go depends on which is the better location. If you're going during the peak weeks, then Boardwalk is the better location, if you're not, then the Sandpiper is just as good as the Boardwalk as far as location goes. I don't know why people on here are strictly for the east end when half of them have never even stayed on the west end. Just like the east end, it has its own pros n cons but it's a win/win situation regardless.

even if it wasn't peak week I'd choose boardwalk just because of the walking distance to the big clubs. sandpiper is awesome though, and yeah everyone's at the tiki bar at night so it's pretty fun.

2005- Big *** house in PC but too far away
2006- Beach Break by the Sea (only things that made it worth it were the ppl from Wisconsin, and my neighbor was a tall drink of water from Alabama)
2007- Summit
2008- Summit
2009- Boardwalk

I'd say Boardwalk, so much freedom rooms way bigger. Tiki Bar is cool for an after hours bar I'd rather pay the ten buck to get in than stay there and get in for free.
