Days Inn...anyone got info about that place

Looks like im gonna end up there and will reduce my time in PCB for 3 days. Spring Break is just too expensive for myself and my crew right now so we're gonna drive there on the 13th, party for the weekend, drive to Tampa (my ole stomping grounds) and party with my friends there for the rest of the week.

So who's been to the Days Inn down there? Do we got to get wristbands? Are they strict? Blah blah blah. I was gonna stay at Casa Loma but i had to find a hotel that didnt have the "5 day minimum stay" rule.

I've stayed there once. Yes they are strict about the wristbands. However...it's not that hard to get around that. It's not a bad spot to stay as long as you have a car to get around.

You're gonna have to fill me in on that then lol. And yeah i have a car. Is this place in the middle of nowhere on the beach lol.

I saw it was on front beach road and according to the Trip Smarter map, it looked like it was close to La Vela and all that fun stuff down there. Driving isnt a big deal to me though cause I drove back and forth last time (I stayed at Legacy By the Sea which was next to Pier Park)

Hmm, it's about a 15 minute walk from Vela/the main area of the beach I'd say. Bear in mind Front Beach Road is loooooooooooong so maps often look deceptively close...

days inn wasn't bad. Although me and my crew went between the last week of feb/march so it wasnt as crazy as the normal peak weeks. The distance between there and vela is I would say its more than 15 mins. but all and all if you go there on a peak week then it should be alright.

It's definitely not a 15 minute walk. Maybe a 15 minute drive in light traffic. When I stayed there before, I noticed that there's no lobby to walk through to get to your room....however there are random security guards that do check wrist bands.

I stayed at Paradise Palms last year which is Days Inn's sister hotel right next door. They do give you wristbands and they are only really strict late at night when you're coming home. You have to show the security your band to get in, or they won't let you. My advice, if you're bringing friends over to party, have them walk in from the beachside. Most of the time the security guys aren't over there.

Is there a way to get wristbands for my friends? I have some friends driving up from tampa on the saturday and they are spending the night before heading back home on Sunday....
