Be careful on your drive to PCB!

This is usually a hot topic on these forums...but I haven't seen i this year. (Maybe I over-looked it).

Highway Patrol ramps up their guard during spring break...so every major interstate leading to PCB (and every small road leading to PCB), will have troopers looking for you.

I know you want to get to the party as soon as possible...but no need in geting $150 ticket before you even get to the party!

Nah...I've had enough speeding tickets in my life to not even try to risk it when I go to PCB. I just set the cruise control and go with it. But I have seen instances where every time I came over a hill...there was a cop sitting right there in the median.

Also watch out for drunk drivers along the strip. I didnt see much of em last year cause i didnt drive often but one time i did.... there was this white ford escort driving in front of me and swerving back and forth, randomly stopping and going,.....bumpin loud music. I ASSUMED they were drunk and their driving was pissin me off. I ended up putting the pedal to the medal and moving ahead of them after trailing for about a mile and a half. No cops to stop em for some reason but they definetly were driving like dumbf*cks

It seems like right when you go from alabama to florida they are speed traps all over. Last year on the way home I counted like 10 people pulled over in less than a mile radius.

Don't be drinking and driving on the way down to spring break either....every year that I can remember someone posts a link to a story where spring breakers died on the way down because of this

Not sure...but you gotta know your rights. I don't think the cops can search your car w/o your permission UNLESS they see something out in the open that makes them believe that there could be something else in your car.

just set ur cruise control anywhere from 5-8mph over the limit, they wont pull u over for that......follow the speeding truckers and stay a car lenth behind them, follow that trucks every movement cuz the cops wont see u behind them and they have the radios and communicate with each other, they know at wat mile the cop is at so wen they slow down...dont be stupid to pass them, slow down as well and they'll go back to speeding wen its safe to

One year we pulled over to help the girls in front of us that blew a tire and the police stopped shortly after. They straight up told us that if they pull you over and you were a yankee from the north you were getting a ticket and if you were from the south you got off. He said he would expect the same treatment if he were in Iowa. He didnt find it funny either when asked if he was still bitter about the loss in the civil war
