PCB Spring Break marketing gets noticed in AdAge
Interesting article about Panama City Beach and its struggle to be seen as both a Spring Break destination and a family-friendly destination:

Spring Break is only one month out of the year. There are 11 other months for families to visit Panama City Beach.
I think that a city can definitely be both! I've stopped through PCB in the summer on the way to other cities in Florida and it was very quiet and absolutely gorgeous. More power to the people of PCB for keeping up with both markets!

all power to those businesses who decided to go it alone when the older crowd wanted to move away from pcb and refused to finance significant marketing/mtv
people tend to think in their own selfish ways (i.e. they want PCB quiet and a non spring break location) but would the locals really want to live there if all the businesses went bankrupt, i doubt it.
