I went last year but only stayed 3 days and then one of my friends bother went back home to get his girlfriend and thats 3hr and 40 min drive. Then his brother left cause they was fussing and ****. I was stuck at the motel with nothing to do for the whole day.He came back and we did some stuff like walked on the strip and went to the wet tshirt contest.I am kind of shy when i first get at a place and i dont want to make a fool out of my self.This year we are gone to try to stay a week and if my friends brother goes he wont be takeing any girls unless he wants to stay at home with her because hes not ****ing it up this time.I want anyone on this board to give me some tips on what to do and what best way hook up with some girls down there.

1. Don't go to Spring Break with buddies who have girlfriends. Especially if their girlfriends watch their every move, or demand that the "couple" never spend more than five minutes away from each other (thus they have to bring them down).

2. You are NEVER stuck at a hotel in PCB with nothing to do for the day. Walk your a** out the door of the motel room and go do something. Anything. Hit a bar, walk the beach ... just smile and have fun because anything beats sitting in your room watching CNN and the Weather Channel.

3. If you don't want to make a fool out of yourself, stay home for spring break in PCB (or anywhere else). Half the fun of visiting a party city area IS to make a fool out of yourself. You are in a strange town so who cares?

4. You can't meet girls in the hotel room (at the very least they are down on the beach or at the pool), and you can't meet them with your buddy who has to be chained to his girlfriend. Get out and just have fun. Smile ... you are on vacation and spring break! Have some beers, relax, talk to the people around you.

And most importantly, make a small fool out of yourself once in a while. Ever wonder why the women end up with the guys talking it up and leading the party? Those guys are not scared to look silly, smile, and have a good time. And women want to have a good time. If you are doing the "good time, life is fun, let's get silly" thing ... put two and two together.

Tesinvegas is right. Sense of humor always gets the girls :D (as long as you're not trying too hard).

I would have walked to a club but it was like 1.5 miles way.I went and walked the beach tho talk to 2 girls so i guess it wasnt that bad.I todl my friends brother tho there will be no girls going with us this year.

I understand where you are coming from. If you ended up at a place well away from the action, you are kind of stuck. But don't think that all the action is just at the Super Clubs.

I was down in Panama City Beach a couple of months ago (not even during Spring Break) and checked out a number of the beach and other bars around the hotels. I understand during Spring Break, just about any bar within walking distance of a hotel is full of people having a good time.

Glad to hear it sounds like you will have more fun next time. My spring break days are past me, but nothing like hanging out and partying at the beach!

My wife and I decided not to worry about being old farts and went to PCB and Daytona during SB2002. After watching a lotta guys trying to pick up a lotta girls, I can definitely tell you what *not* to do. :)

Perfect example: I spent some time talking to one of the AT&T girls who were handing out beads behind Spinnaker. She was being hit on constantly in the most uncreative and rude ways. (Rude, in and of itself, isn't necessarily bad in this context... but when you're rude *and* tedious, it's incredibly annoying.)

Now, the young lady in question was amazingly sweet in addition to pretty, so she endured this stuff with a smile. But the point is, anyone wanting to hook up with her should have been trying to do more than play on her endurance... after hearing her 10th "You're hot! Wanna go back to my room?" in 10 minutes, she just started tuning it out.

So don't do that. :)

I came to PCB alone last March and I still had a ball. While I was there, I could make myself look so silly without no regrets. I was living it up. I made the good times happen. I may not have gotten a girl while I was there but I did many good people. I basically waited to be noticed...but with a truckload of beads around my neck, it's not hard to get noticed.
I got the nickname Mr.T because I had many beads. I said that if only I had the rings the ensamble would be complete. I even made the "I pity the fool" quote. I didn't go around looking for girls to flash for beads, all I had to do was wait to be noticed. Lots of rowdy guys wanted beads from me but I wouldn't give any to them. They were even offering me money. I am a respectable person and I conducted myself in that manor. Not loosing my mind whenever I see a pretty girl. (I have a smile on my face and say OK.) I am going back alone this year and I will make more good times happen.
