Since my husband was working until the wee hours of the morning, sometimes our schedules were a little weird.... This plus more than a little Jack Daniels is why we were out at 4:30 in the morning on the beach getting a tweaker tan and building a sand sculpture of an octopus with a cartoon face.... My poor camera worked overtime trying to get a pic, since we built it too close to the ocean it was a race to snap a photo before the tide rose, and this is the best I came up with, but I have to share it....

This was our friend's first trip to the beach in her life, so everything was new and exciting... she built a quesadilla (yep, that's what I said, remember the Jack Daniels?) for the octopus to eat... I suggested we maybe change it to a jellyfish, because I wasn't sure quesadillas were a readily available foodsource...
