There's a little nerd in all of us, so if you're in the Panama City Beach area on vacation May 30 - June 1, 2008, come let it out!

The Wrath of Con is a 3-day Sci-Fi celebration at the Marriott Bay Point Resort and Spa, with appearances by several television celebrities, such as Jerry Doyle from Babylon 5, Richard Hatch, Aaron Douglas and Tahmoh Penikett from the new Battlestar Galactica, Gigi Edgley and Virginia Hey from Farscape, Chase Masterson from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine!

The Wrath of Con will also feature appearances from leading scientists, authors, artists, paranormal experts ("Ghost Hunters"), film makers, and even an Astronaut or two!

All during the weekend, we'll be hosting the area's only independent film festival, our very own "Sci-Fi Sundance" featuring films from all over the world, and the festival attendees will vote on their favorites from each category.

Children are welcome, but after 7pm it's time to put them to bed, because that's when the parties begin! Live music and a DJ spinning your favorites kick off the party, and The Wrath of Con "Orion Slave Girl" belly dancers will keep it going.

If video games are your thing, we've got you covered, with a gaming room open 24 hours each day featuring LAN space for over 200 computers, as well as Console gaming, tournaments all weekend with prizes from our sponsors, several game companies will be in attendance showcasing their latest creations and you can be the first to play them!

Oh man, I love the Ghost Hunters. My favorite Sci-Fi show. We are going to be there in May but the second week of May.
