Every year I try and make a last minute trip to PCB for Lobsterfest, and so far I haven't had success. So this year I'm trying to plan ahead, but then I saw that Voodoofest is on Halloween weekend (which ups the ante), and I have to make a tough choice this year; New Orleans or PCB for fall vacation? The last bit of summer on the beach, or three days of music? Quiet vegging in the sun, or Bourbon Street on Halloween?

My view is probably skewed, but I can listen to music on my MP3 player while looking over the Gulf...so I will pick the Gulf every time. Nawlins just doesn't do it for me like the repeatitive difference that only a wave can make.

Thanks Bo, you make a great point. I can't think of anything more soothing than the simplicity of my ipod and the ocean.

New Orleans or PCB...that's a tough decision for me as those are my absolute two favorite cities! But as Bowhunter pointed out...you can listen to music while at the beach on your ipod or whatever....so no contest there....I'd definitely pick PCB over New Orleans.
