Sweet Rita is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Boatyard

They say, don't believe the hype. But, this time, believe it. The Boatyard is all that they said it would be. I was fortunate to be on the guest list at a private "test run" last night. Hold onto your hats, this place will rock your senses! The decor is like nothing else in Panama City. The Service was first class, the food absolutely delicious and the entertainment was great. It was a lot to take in at one time. The best thing is the atmosphere is totally relaxed. Come as you are and be prepared to have a fabulous time. You have to try the Picadillo Island Style Plantain Chips. Everyone at our table loved them. Take a look at the website to see their menu, there's something for everyone. We shared a little of each other's meals and I can honestly say everything was good. Don't overlook the upstairs. The beautiful and exciting layout continues. Be prepared to have your breath taken away again when you see the view from the deck that overlooks the dock. There's inside and outside dining. There's a children's menu. The floor space is huge, top and bottom. The experience is indescribable. I hear there are more surprises in store for us. I can't wait. I can't make it for the grand opening tomorrow, but Saturday looks good for a return visit. See you there! Oh yeah, ladies check out the towel dispenser in the bathroom!

BTW, the conch fritters were delicious -- try them with the wasabi dipping sauce

Boy, this restaurant seems to be all that and then some. There's been nothing but positives about the place. I can't wait to try it, hopefully very soon.

I've heard that Boatyard's website launch is going to coincide with the grand opening tomorrow (Friday, May 23)...
