This is a very bright and cheery place to go eat, it has a great waterfront view and excellent food. Service is pretty good.

Uncle Ernies is great
Uncle Ernies is over across Hathaway Bridge in the Old St. Andrews area. It is housed in an old Florida "cracker house" that actually belonged to the owners Uncle Ernie, and was moved to the waterfront site on St. Andrews Bay.
Good food, with great daily specials and some good micro-brews. Weather permitting, enjoy the deck overlooking the water. It is worth the drive into town to eat here. Pappy's the great German pub is just down the street, and Hunt's Oyster Bar is a block or so away. |

We just had our first meal at Ernie's about a month ago. Didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. We had lunch and I went with the burger. It was huge. My wife had some sort of fish and was very happy with it.
Pappy's is a great German bar! Those crazy German gals who run it are good fun, and good people. If you're looking for something to do on a lazy afternoon, drop by. |

Uncle Ernie's
I've been to Uncle Ernie's before but it's been a couple of years. We really enjoyed it.I don't know why we haven't been back.seems like we get into a rut and keep going to the same places.I'll be leaving this Saturday for Panama City and I think we'll try Uncle Ernie's.Do you recommend anything on their menu? By now KyBob
