Question Hamilton's

I heard that Hamilton's sustained major damage from an Ivan spawned tornado. Anyone know if they are planning to re-build and if they are, will they be up and running by Spring Break?

I wouldn't count on them being open for Spring Break. The did receive major damage and the entire building is probably a loss. But I have heard that the owner, Steve Stevens, has discussed rebuilding Hamilton's.... AND the possiblity of building condos where Hamilton's is located. I'm sure there would be a restaurant in the plans somewhere.

Thanks for the info! I hope they rebuild the restaurant. If they keep tearing down restaurants to build condos, where's everybody going to eat?

Me, too! I miss their Coconut Grouper Nuggets... with that Carribean sauce! And they cooked some great steaks as well!

Hamiltons

Yes, Hamiltons got trashed.
No, it is not likely to open at all this season, unless things have changed in the last week or two.
And last but not least, the grapevine says Stevo sold the land for condos already... but nobody knows for sure whether or not he got 20 MIL for the deal.

the people pushing all the condo stuff don't really give a hoot if all the restaurants close except for the ones THEY OWN ALREADY... they just want to cash out and run
