whowee...
Though i started out many years ago installing solely shower curtains and their rings, mostly in gyms and public locker rooms, over the past year I had been promoted to more the TP and paper towel dispenser divisions of our company. with tihs promotion came more of the travels and more of the fine restaurant of the southeast. I have installed in, and therefore eaten in, all sorts of dining establishments. From the mom and pop hardware/gas staiton/convenient store that had a few small tables and an elderly lady named mimi(you know the place there in Moultrie) to those fancy uptown places in the fine city of Hotlanta(and can i say those are some of the finest bathrooms I have worked in.) i have had the opportunity to sample many fares...
....and what have a i concluuded, well let me tell you. There is this little place in Panama Cuty Beach...actually not that small, called Schooners, and it is unreal! Yeah when i first went in there months ago to install the hand towel 153xl i though i would grab a quick sandwhich. Bliss did not do justice to the flavor of the goruper i bit into....da-- it was good. Reminded me of the days pa and i used to catch catfish down in the lake...fresh fish so freh they still have the hook in their mouth....you're right dad, that joke never gets old!
Like i was saying the goruper sandwich hooked me and i was a fan forever....but this weekend i brought the fam down for the Labor Day weekend, well that and The Summit called with a shower ring emergency....either way we were greeted at Schooners with this amzing list of specials. Beef Wellington, Grouper a la Papillote, Cornish Game Hen...the only game hen i knew was that stupid bird at the University of Delaware games. We risked it, each ordering a special.....
whowee it was good!!!! the food came and it was heaven....the last time i felt this overjoyed was the day the automatic sink turn off switch was placed on the market...
Moral of the story....Schooners is the next best thing to Alabama Football, and smile you know you are in a place that gives you as many paper towels as you want, none of them fandangle air dryers....this place has it all!!!
