Thumbs up Lobster Fest

I haven't made it to the Lobster Fest before, but I've heard good things about it. My wife loves the stuff, but I'm not too fond of it. Anybody know if you can order off the menu during the Fest?

Good news Ed, talked to Francesca out at Schooners, and their entire menu is available throughout LobsterFest. Guess that means we'll see you out there, eh?

Yep, Dominic, it sure is... take a look now, and you can see Rich Varano hard at work on it! We were just there for lunch, and let me tell ya, when we got there the darn thing was basically what you saw - a big pile of sand. By the time we'd left, the top had been "magically" transformed into a dolphin!

On a more somber note, there is a sand sculpture in front of Schooners celebrating America, and mourning those lost on September 11th. It's a touching reminder of what's been lost.

Wow! Had a great time at Schooners this weekend, but we had to get home. Got some good pictures of me in front of some of the sand sculptures. Now if my grandkids will only believe I built them!! They're gullible little tykes but might have grandpa figured out.
