Pineapple Willy's was good today...

We just ate lunch at Willy's (for jodimarie's birthday) and I def give it 2 thumbs up. Sevice was outstanding. Our waitress was great. Very friendly and helpful.

The view was spectacular and is what makes Willy's so cool. It was overcast, but the water was slick as ice. The calmest I've seen in a long time. Green flags flying... and believe it or not, a COOL BREEZE blowing (thanks to the 'cool' front stalled over us).

Shared the ribs with a friend and they were good as usual. The Mahi BLT sandwich looked really good, too.

Great day to eat at Willy's... and Happy B-Day Jodi!

Happy Birthday jodimarie......but do ya'll have to torture those of us who don't live there with wonderful stories of the view and food.
That's OK....I'll be down next weekend (Aug 12-14) and I can enjoy it again for myself.

Thanks gagirl! But don't consider our stories torture, think of it as living vicariously through us!!

I used to be a GA girl myself....until last year when I had enough of city living, packed it up and headed south to the water...sooooo nice.....

Ever considered it??

STITCH will become famous soon enough
considering a move too!

We (boyfriend & self), have often considered making that move to PCB.
He has been vacationing there ever since high school and I've gone with him the last 2 years. I'm a little weiry of the recent hurricanes. Also, we're wondering how strong the job market is. We would greatly appreciate any insight on this.
We adore PCB!

I've dreamed about moving to PCB but I have too good of a job to leave. Since it is only a 3 hour drive down, we can visit often. We have even gone down just for the day sometimes. :)

Cool gagirl...3 hours is not that bad at all.

Stitch, on the other hand...10 hours??? Poor thing!

Yes, the hurricanes have been a bit nerve racking to me since I moved here...but it's a small sacrifice to make compared to the rest of the year when the weather is amazing, the water is beautiful, and the sunsets are breathtaking!!! Sooooo worth it to me.

Job market?? Really depends on your field. If your in construction or hospitality then you're set and worry free. Other industries are slowly, but surely increasing, and with all the new development in the area, I can only imagine that the job market will pick up as well.

But if you really love the beach, then this is definitely the place to be.

TNgirl122 is on a distinguished road
Question

We live almost 500 miles from there. I'd love to be only three hours away. I'd be at the beach every weekend! I'm in the transportation industry, Customer Service for a trucking company. What's the job market like there for that? Are there many trucking companies there?
