So I know the Spicy Noodle by the old Ocean Opry is closed... I'm wondering what the consensus is on why.... was it location? (it's not too far from Casa de Fogo and Mikato, and they are doing well) Lack of advertising? (I never once saw them on BeachTV) Was it the food itself?

The food was just awful. I mean - really bad -- when Alfredo Sauce comes out brown - you're in trouble.

They have a location at Inlet Beach that is still open -- at least it was the last time I was through there (about a month ago).

I LOVED their pizza. Never had anything BUT the pizza, though... so I can't comment on the pasta.

That particular location has been home to 4 restaurants in the last 2 years, each staying open less than 6 months. I think that says it all.

If they put a Pub in there .... hmmm, think we could just meander down there? I mean, it's so close!!!!! And then we could turn the upstairs area into a ward of beds for us to stumble back to!! Just think, we'd never be late for work!!!!!

So for a restaurant, it's a curse.... What about a bar, maybe a sports bar...? Does it have the curse of being just too far from the beach for the tourists, and over the bridge so it's a pain for the locals coming from the other side?

The Inlet Beach one has been open now for years. No idea how the food is just as horrible as you describe. I have been there twice and got sick both times
