Icon5 Where to go for good Chinese Food???

I used to enjoy the great Chinese food at House of Chan. Ever since they closed I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the Panama City Beach area.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

What is everyone's favorite Chinese place?

Thanks for the info!

there's a place by Wal - Mart on Tyndall pkwy it's really good - maybe not as good as House of Chan , but still really good. They are located in the same shopping center as Wal - Mart next door to SALLY's Beauty Supply. You can sit and eat if you want but it's set up more for take out ... everything is made to order .... may I suggest the seaseme seed chicken

Icon12 Lotus

Great Vietnamese food - Lotus Cafe on 98 -- it's awesome!! Jade East in the Beachwalk Center is ok - but- if you are looking for Mongolian BBQ - you may need to go over to Destin - will find the name of the place for you -- but also, great food at Mikato's or Mori's over the bridge -- Kobe is hit and miss (on 23rd St also)....

There's a China Buffet on Front Beach Road that we hit for lunch sometimes that isn't too bad - it's definitely not the House of Chan...

I would recommend Lotus for sure - you will enjoy it!!

Thanks NASCAR! I totally agree about Lotus... it's awesome and inexpensive. Fresh, unique, authentic and different than typical Asian cuisine - it's way better! Read more Lotus reviews!

Icon2 Good Oriental Food

Aww...I miss House of Chan... As for good oriental food in PC, it's just buffet, but try the Emperor China Buffet on Hwy. 98 just East of Hathaway Bridge. It's good, has variety, and (I don't know what nights) has crab legs on the buffet! The chinese place on the beach (just west of the bridge on Front Beach Rd.) is one that I DO NOT reccomend. It's not that the food is bad, really. It is plain, bland, dry. I've experienced this more than one time there. It has been awhile, so I guess everything is worth a second (third, fourth, fifth...) try!

Cool. Thanks for the advice everyone. I will have to try Lotus. I have heard good things about them. That, plus it is on one of Margit's Top Five spots, so it must be good, right?

I have been to the Empire Buffet and it is pretty good for a buffet.

What I was really looking for is a good eggroll. You know, those big cruchy ones? I love those things. Any ideas on that folks?
