What are the laws about using metal detectors on the beach?

As far as I know there are no laws against it. My father and I have used one on the beach for the last 10 years everytime we go down there.

Off subject......I see your screen name is kylakerats......Do you visit or fish Ky lake and barkley a lot?

Have you even found anything exciting on the beach? We found some loose change and broken sunglasses but that is about it.

We are from Martin, Tn. We go up to the lake about every weekend and pontoon and jetski, use to fish. We stay around the Paris Landing area, where the Tennessee River and sandy river join. We are leaving for PCB TOMORROW! Can't wait!
