Went there recently and I will say that the food was okay. However I find it very odd and actually distracting that they have a pool for the restaurant. Most people got out to restaurant to eat not take a swim. Not sure who thought up this one.

A pool in a restaurant...very odd indeed. The sight of some people in swimsuits might make one lose their appetite and this would be bad for business.

The Greatest addition to P.C.B. in Years!! Kudo's to the Owners for such an Amazing Place! We eat there three times a week and absolutely Love It! It's like a vacation for locals! The chef, came over from the Saltwater Grill to do this place and man it's hands down the best the beach has to offer! All around A+! The food is Cheap but, the best around. We loved him at Saltwater and Canopies but, man o man he saved the best for his own place! You'll be amazed at what they did to the old J. Michaels building..Not just a fresh coat of paint! You have to see it to believe it! We knew, when we found out who the owners were that it would be great! The pool is owned by the marina and it is amazing. Anyone that is a guest of the marina or the restaurant can use the pool. It's the Place to be on the weekends the live bands by the pool, the vibe and the cold almost free drinks...Well, you just have to check it out for yourself. No words can really describe how awesome this place is!

The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. This is a great gathering place resturant. Great job folks.

I had lunch at Dock Hoppers today and it was wonderful. All those comments about the pool are just crazy. There were about 20 folks sitting around the pool having lunch, appetizers and drinks and they were having a ball. It's in a marina,ok. You can pull up on the boat, hop in the pool and cool off, have a great meal at a reasonable price and somebody thinks that's Not a good idea. It's a Great idea. I ate inside with another bunch of really nice people. Dock Hoppers is great, try it,you'll like it.

Hey Everybody, Dock Hoppers is planning a St. Patrick's Day Party to top ALL St. Patrick's Day Parties. If you're plans do not include Dock Hoppers for St. Paddy's, you need to change them! Word on the streets is that Chef is cooking up Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew along with the regular menu which is Fantastic! Green Beer and the best of all, the evening will be filled with the music of ROCKIN' JENN! I heard about it on Beach 95.1 and Rocky said there will be all the regular dance music, they will be dong Irish Music and a couple of sing a longs. Now what could be a better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, NONE! SEE YA THERE.

Just went to dock hoppers, great restaurant, tiki bar outside next to the pool, great for parents with kids, you drink and each, kids swim by pool, food great, cocktails better, don't miss if your in panama city beach area

Had lunch here yesterday and I was impressed! We ate outside since the weather was nearly perfect.

This place used ot be J.Michaels, but Dock Hoppers completely remodeled everything and made the inside and outside much, much nicer.

The pool is a nice touch, although no one was in it while we were there.

Food was great - I had a salad and some Lobster Spring Rolls (awesome!)

Friends had a burger and BBQ sandwich... and they enjoyed their lunch.

Service left a little to be desired, but I'll give them a 2nd chance on that.

Deifintely recommended!

Can't speak about the food. I heard an ad on 94.5 that sounded great! Called and asked for a menu to be emailed and was told they had no way to do this. Was also told that you could expect to spend about $30 for dinner. I'm just a local looking for a new place to eat.

Dockhoppers is great! Been there 3 or 4 times and food was great every time. Service was good. Nice atmosphere and location. It's more expensive than your typical seafood dive, but in line with other popular tourist seafood restaurants.

Sounds like you need to get off the couch and go to Dock Hoppers.
