Hey, GO WKU!!!! I am a WKU Graduate myself ![]() I don't know of any seafood buffets on the beach, or I would be hitting them up! There are several places to eat on the beach, but no buffets that I have ever been to, and I have been going to PCB for 20 years.

There used to be a place on the lagoon by Capt. Anderson's called Mako's (I think). It was a buffet & offered $1 beer & wine. Then it became something called Fish Stock (or something like that). Sorry to be so vague; we ate there once a few years ago when it was Mako's. Could that be the place?

Also, the Treasure Ship has a buffet on the upper deck called Captain Crabby's overlooking the lagoon.

I'll have to ask my buddy because I didn't go. He told me the other night it was on the beach but I didn't ever remember a place like that either. I've been to PCB during Spring Break 5 out of the last 8 years and I'm stumped. Maybe he was so drunk he just thought he ate on the beach.

You are most likely thinking about The Sunset Restaurant owned and very ably operated by the Charles Collins family. The restaurant featured the best seafood buffet on the beach. It was located somewhere about 12700 Front Beach road on the beach side and was sold to developers several years ago.
