We always go to Hunts in St.Andrews, cheaper and better than those places on Front Beach

Hit up the shaggy marlin! Huge oysters at a reasonable price. I ate oysters there 3 times during my last trip. The absolute best oysters on the strip was at the Quarter Deck Oyster Bar, but sadly it closed a few years back. They really did have the best prices and best oysters. I have always wanted to reopen that place myself, and probably would if I could find a partner.

Icon14 Raw Oysters Best at Hunt's

By far, Hunt's has the best raw oysters, freshest, and no grit. Located on Beck Avenue in St. Andrews near the wharf.

Yes to Hunt's and Dusty's. NO to Shuckum's.

June 2010: Shuckum's small and $9/dozen. Dusty's bigger and better at $6 dozen and Hunt's better at under $5.

Our pick for the best oyster bar is "Dusty's". We always have a good time there.

We were in town last week and checked out Hunt's for the first (and second) time. I can't wait to get back! I had dozens of raw oysters and they were great. Actually, everything we tried there was great. We will be back!
