We are planning a trip to PCB this July. The last time we were there was in 2007. We stopped at Louie's on a whim after driving hours and hours from Indiana. The food was FABULOUS!! We ended up there 3 or 4 more times during the course of the week. However, they used to have a website and I'm not able to find it now. I'm really worried that Louie's has closed (my family will be crushed). It was located on Front Beach Rd very close to the Winn Dixie. Does anyone know if it's still there?

We drive by it everyday and there is no sign of anything happening there. Also, there is a sticker that was put on the front door concerning taxes. Doesn't look good.

Isn't it funny how rumors spread when really nobody knows except the people involved, I guess if you don't have anything else to do ......

The restaurant has been closed since September 2008 . After 7 years on the beach I felt it was time to let the big boys at Peir Park take it all, why fight it. I may open another one in the near future but for right now I am doing catering. If you are having a party and want me to cook it for you, let me know. The real story about the stickers: The stickers on the door of Louies Florida Grill were from code enforcement ( there was not one word about taxes on it ) wanting the building owners to clean the trash up around the building and keep the bums from sleeping on the deck ! Being next to the Chevron Station was quite a daily chore trying to pick up all the trash from the inconsiderates that shopped there. after I closed it kept getting worse and no one cleaned it up.
