There is a new place to eat in PCB. Has anyone tried this place? It was crowded everytime we drove by at supper time. There is a website if anyone is interested in taking a look at it.

This is actually the 3rd location for Bayou on the Beach. For many years, they were located on the curve at Thomas Drive (next to Newby's 2). They always had great lunch specials and our favorite was on Wednesdays (steak tips and rice, green beans, bread, tea... YUM!)

They closed that old location and moved to the old Ruthie T's building on Thomas Drive. That only lasted one season and they disapearred for a couple years.

Now they are back and fortunately still have that Wednesday lunch special! They alos have great oysters, good burgers and a kick-butt muffaletta. Still the same owners... still the same great food. You'll feel like you're in New Orleans with the mardi gras decor and zydeco music.

Highly recommended!

Where are they located now?

They are on Middle Beach Road now, I think it was. We traveled that road a good bit when we were there. Can't miss it, if you pass by.

Yup - Middle Beach, just east of the Beckrich intersection (Edgewater). They are located on the south side of the road.

The Bayou has the best Gumbo and oysters in town--happy hour is when we go. Great little unknown for travelors--local favorite
