Welcome to Tripsmarter! You've come to the right place for PCB info. The locals can give you a much more detailed list than I can. There's so many great places to eat we never hit them all during a weeks stay. We started out watching Beach TV and later discovered Tripsmarter which has made every vacation a blast! Lot's of good folks with good info hang out here.

Here are a few of my favorites in no particular order...
Schooners - AMAZING view, a ton of history, great place to have a beer or ten. This place really can't be beat for atmosphere in Panama City Beach. Capt.'s Table - Probably my favorite restaurant in the area. It's in town, but not far at all. Maybe five minutes over the bridge. I honestly can't say a bad thing about this place. It's THE place for seafood in my opinion. Boatyard - Also, great view right on Grand Lagoon. Terrific lunch specials. Liza's Kitchen - The best sandwich place in town...and that's saying a lot. You can't go wrong with Fatty's or Andy's Flour Power, but Liza's original creations and atmosphere really puts it over the top for me. Sweet Racks - This place doesn't get much love...but, it's pretty new. It's mom and pop BBQ with a little bit of a twist...it's filipino BBQ. I think their pulled pork is the best in town. Ferrucci's - It's in downtown Panama City...so, a little bit further off the beach, but definitely worth it. Great italian food. Five Guys Burgers - Yeah, yeah, it's a chain. But it's awesome and you have to try it if you're in Pier Park. Voted best Fast-Food Burger in the Country by Zagat this year. Lime's - This place is located in the middle of the water behind the Marriot in Panama City Beach. It's amazing out there...and you'd be happy if the food was even passably decent, but it's so much more! One of the best lunches I've had all year was out there. Well, that should get you started! Enjoy! |

Next door to the Capt's Table is Hunt's Oyster Bar, which we went to for the first time last year and loved it. Not much in the decor department, but oysters anyway you like them. Actually, the St. Andrews Bay area was nice to visit, too. We walked around there during the day and then came back at night to eat. Both places are good.
Also, Scampy's on Thomas Drive is a good place to take the family. They have daily lunch specials and a little something for everybody. |

I have to agree about the food at Captain's Table. I eat there every time I am in town and I never get tired of it at all! You can't go wrong at Schooners or Pineapple Willy's either.

We like Shuckums Oyster Bar. Of course, we stay across the street at the Flaming so that's a big plus. Good food, lots of it and the prices are pretty good. Hunt's is great for oysters as well.
And don't forget, go to Cardena's or Buddy's Seafood Market for some fresh fish or shrimp for a meal in one night. They will even steam or boil the shrimp for you. I love Pinapple Willie's for the drinks, atmosphere and the view. Food not so much but if you drink enough of their signature drinks, it'll taste great!

We just tried Capt.'s Table and Hunts for the first time last week and both places are super good! We also like to visit Pier 77. We always get good food and service and like the other two places the prices are really good for the quality you receive.
