$400.00 a night! This isn't Las Vegas! Never would stay there! That is half the cost per night of what we have been paying for a week down there. You're saying a regular room or condo or whatever they are is that much per night and not a penthouse??? I would faint! The rates by owner I discovered were a good deal cheaper, which is quite common I am sure. The most expensive I saw per night by owner was $235.00 a night and $1495.00 a week between around May 20th and August 19th. Here is a by owner link to a unit. They are having a August special for $999.00! And you are right, they are spacious.

Just put it this way! Could not afford to stay there, especially in the penthouse. But my husband and I could probably afford the August special of $999.00! Problem is, he won't stay at any hi-rises down there because he doesn't want to be on any floor other than the 1st floor. Doesn't want to have to take an elevator down with beach chairs, etc., everytime we want to go sit on the beach. And any I have looked at that the owner themselves is renting have not been on the 1st floor. And the prices they charge for using their beach chairs is ridiculous! And if you rent through the complex itself, it is a good deal higher.

My sister and her hubbys side of the family stayed at Sterling on Thomas and paid that much a night but she loves it there and they split it 3 ways.

I think they got the 3 bedroom and it had a wrap around balcony.

I will stick to the el cheapo condos just not the celedon again.
I think we will go back to Long Beach Resort next year.
