This was a good, clean, affordable hotel on the beach. We went from 13-15 July so there weren't any spring breakers. We got the room with two queen beds. Four of us slept there comfortably. The cleaning lady did a good job of cleaning and the room itself was in pretty good shape. We stayed at the Days Inn just down the road last year and this was much better.

wxdude99, all of their rooms are beachfront, aren't they??? I love the curved look to the place. Wouldn't mind staying there myself with my husband. Do the rooms have kitchenettes?

We stayed here some when I was a little girl, and, we also stayed here more recently like in 2002 and stayed in the beach level rooms. I enjoyed the pool area. For the price, it was nice and clean, and the beds were comfy which is important. For instance, once, in like 2001 we stayed at Port of Call, which is now torn down, but, the mattress was wet with urine, and there were nails sticking out all over the beds. It was a nightmare. So, for the money, the chateu is a good deal I think plus in a good location.
