Ok here is the deal. A friend and I are looking to stay Aug 19-25. We are totally clueless on where to stay, where to go, and what to do.
We are driving down but if we could walk to most places that is great.
I was looking at a few places and saw this trolley system?
Where are some of the hot spots? We are both in our late 20's and looking to have a fabulous vacation.
Is there a good boat/jet ski rental place?
Beach activities?
Beach rules?
Must see/do places?
Best local places?
Any information will be greatly appreciated no matter how random it is!

Well, are you looking to PARTY, relax, or a little bit of both? To party, you must go to Coyote Ugly and Spinnakers to truly be on a PCB Vacation. There are TONS of jet ski rentals up and down the beach, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one, or you can go to the marina and rent one there and go over to shell island to see the dolphins. My advice is take a volley ball with you, strike up some friendly conversation with others on the beach and play some volleyball. It is very fun and an easy way to meet other people. Most of the restruants/bars on the beach have live band schedules, so I would suggest checking out Schooners, Sharkys, and any other places you see have live bands, that is ALWAYS a good time! Also, remember to bring CANS if you drink beer, because glass is not permitted on the beaches. I am partial to staying at "Regency Towers" and I have stayed there for the past 12-15 years and never had a problem. They are fully loaded rooms, washer/dryer, 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, and TONS of lounge chairs. But you should also check the "Where to stay" forum for some other options and reviews. I don't know about the trolley system, we always just drive everywhere. I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions just ask!
