A couple on a budget

Where us a clean place to stay on the beach that won't break a struggling couples pocketbook? I have stayed at the Peeks, and it was ok, nothing fancy, but anyone have any other suggestions?

budget

I have vacationed through www.vrbo.com many years and they have some great rentals pretty cheap. Here is one that i just casually found. It is NOT beach front but the resort is across the street from Sandpiper Beacon and very nice. http://www.vrbo.com/129576
$475 for a week is unheard of my friend. I stay at H.S. and dont mind the short walk across the street to get to the beach. Sandpiper has live music every night and a tiki bar to add to your pleasures of a cocktail if you like.
