We stayed at Edgewater Beach Resort a couple weeks ago and I am really replying due to the posting from "food critic" whom is appears has it in for Edgewater Beach Resort.

This was our first time here. I must say, our stay was outstanding. Did not see anything outdated AT ALL. We did not spend our vacation at the front desk so I can not talk much about the front desk crew, but the 5 minutes we were in there, everyone appeared to be super nice. We abided by the rules so we did not get charged anything other then what we expected. I have to guess the pool is the best pool anywhere in Panama City and the beach area was fantastic.....Plus they had a full restaurant out by the pool. IF you can not enjoy Edgewater Beach, I have to guess there is something wrong with you and not the resort.

I'm glad to hear you had a great time! Unfortunately, we probably won't be down there again until November, but we always stay either at Edgewater or Long Beach. The first & last morning that we're there we go to the restaurant and have a big breakfast sitting outside. Paradise!

I love the Edgewater resort also, but I also had an outdated unit this last time in June we visited. Condo bedding older, some things in kitchen lost, couch pretty old, etc.
I guess I will look to rent from other owners than the ones I have used recently. I like the newer condos on the beach that have more amenities and more to offer in the condo for bout the some price.
I am checking out Shores of Panama by Pineapply Willy's as I saw someone suggested this. This pool looks to be very nice also.

Does anyone know if they have their own website? (Shores of pan.)?
