Long Beach Resort building layout

We are staying at the Long Beach Resort and was wanted to know if anyone knew which end of the building we are going to be located in, we are staying in tower 2 unit 1102 (VRBO rental). Just wondering if we were going to be in the one bedroom units on the lagoon end or the far end of the building? Also, can someone tell me about the building, one of my friends stayed this summer and I wasn't sure what she was explaining how the walk to the beach was. It seems there isn't a front beach side entrance, that you have to walk around the building to get beachside and that underneath was open showing the support pillars or did I misunderstand what she said? thanks!

I stayed at Long Beach 3 years ago & as I recall, 1102 would be on the east end of the building & not by the lagoon pool. Also, You're correct about the beach access; there's a grassy lawn in front of each building (not very big, though) and a walkway on the side. Buildings 2 & 3 are on each side of the lagoon pool, so you won't have far to go to get to the pool even if you are on the east end of building 2. Hope this helps!

1102 is in the east end of Tower 2 and overlooks the pool between Tower 1 and 2. The lagoon pool is between Tower 2 and 3, and can be seen from 1102's balcony.

There is a beach access from every tower that goes straight out from the elevator lobby in the center of the buildings. Walk 50 feet and you are standing on the beach.

Here is a picture of the property from the beach side and Tower 2 is the third from the left.

There is no other property like Long Beach Resort. Have a good time.

That's funny, because when I stayed in Twr II, I had to walk down to the lagoon pool to get to the beach. They were doing a bunch of digging and construction around the pillars when I was there. Did they add the walkways or were they just blocked off due to construction?

The lobbies and walkways were blocked off for safety reasons during construction. That was 3 years ago when the repair construction was being finished.

I am also hoping they have that big pipeline, that was used in the sand dredging back in 2005 and ran on the beach in front LB, gone by now

Well be in tower 4 during the first 2 weeks of October. Has a blast in 2005, and know we will this year too. Hope you do too

No question about it, Long Beach. I've heard nothing about Ocean Ritz but it can't be any better than LBR.
