Hey Folks. We're considering staying at Treasure Island Resort this year but I dont know very much about it. If anyone has any opinions about this location I sure would be interested. Many thanks.

Rooms are great but the location is not that good. Way down Thomas Drive, if you are a beach body and thats what you are mainly going for it is a good choice, if you like to do things, you will have to drive a little.
Pool is ok, nothing special. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the heads up PCBeach23! I looked at some pics on line and it looked ok but I have been fooled before. We like to try new places but that having been said we stayed at the Gulf Crest last year and I think we will go back. They were great to deal with and the rooms and view were killer! I do have some friends wanting to try PCB and I will pass your info along to them. Treasure Island may be what they are looking for.

Hey Ridge. We are thinking about going back to PCB in October and staying at Treasure Island. It is right next door to Scampy's, if you are familar with it. I think one condo down from Scooners. It depends on what you are going for. Are you going for Pier Park or are there places you like to go to on Front Beach or are you a home body. I think you said you were going in October, so the traffic won't be bad anywhere and a bunch of the places close the two weeks after seafood festival. Scampy's, Scooners and Pier 77 are three places I know will be open, so Treasure Island will be close to those places. Hope you have a good time wherever you stay.

Thanks Mikatkait! Looks like we'll be at Gulf Crest again and I was very happy with it last year. We try to be home bodies but then I wake up craving goodies from Thomas donuts. We hit restaurants all over so that draws us away also but if I can eat at the beach that's a big plus. We plan on being at PCB the first week in October so maybe we'll be there before places close. We also hope we can catch the Shell Island shuttle this year. They told me they are open through October every year but somehow we never have managed to catch it. Let us know how your trip goes. Stayed at TI last year, we like it . When we were there the beach was very small (to the water) , has that changed at all ? any recent pics ?
