How is Panama during the summer?

Me and a group of friends are planning on to Panama this July. I hear that its pretty fun all year long but I went to Padre last summer and it was basically dead. We met like..3 people the whole week we were there. I have never been to Panama but I'm like the only one in the group that will actually sit down and take time to plan things out haha. So If yall could, where is the best place to stay? I've seen a lot of stuff about the Holiday Inn. Soo...yeah. And I know they are strict about underage drinking during spring break in clubs..but summer? do they lay off a little? and on the beach...are they harder on people cause there migt be no one there? Cause my boyfriend is thinking about coming and he's 23. and I just dont want him to get in trouble if we are all drinking on the beach cause he would be like 1 out of 4 people going thats 21 or over. thanks guys!

PCB is pretty packed right now and will be through the end of July. You'll definitley meet more than 3 people!

Holiday Inn is a great choice. So is Boardwalk, Chateau and Edgewater.

As for underage drinking, you'll have to use your own judgement on that. Clubs will still be fairly strict. The beach is more relaxed. Unless you're causing trouble, local law enforcement will usually leave you alone. Just DON'T drink and drive.

What's not allowed?

Call them if the website's not working for you.

Or try Boardwalk or Edgewater....

well...most of those places dont like people under 21 check in i think. is there a way we can check in? like what if we paid before or whatever? or are there any other choices that are close to there that would let us?

Hotels for Under 25/Under 21

Hey,

PCB-area hotels/motels/condos have really cracked down on younger visitors due to a bad history with them. The old cliche is true...you know...about apples and spoiling everything...anyways.

I know of two - Sleep Inn and Seahaven Beach Hotel - that will allow under-21s to check in, BUT, they require a pretty solid deposit ($100 and $150, respectively). Give them a call and see what's up.

Additionally, you're going towards the end of July? I can guarantee that PCB will NOT be dead; my family and I would always go around mid/end of August and it was still kickin'. But it won't be "Spring-Break" packed, so many hotels will have vacancies. It might be a good idea to cruise the strip, look for the "Vacancy" sign, and just ask them. However, you seem like a planner, so you probably wanna have a room ready for you!

At any rate, you'll find something, I'm sure. Best of luck!

Sleep Inn is not beach front.

Seahaven Beach Hotel Panama City Panama City Beach, Hotel USA. Limited Time Offer!

Seahaven is; however the reviews seem to lean towards the negative.
